1. Our aim
We want FIELDFOLIO to be usable by as many people as possible, including on a phone, in bright sun, and with gloves on. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA for the website and web app. We have not had a full third-party audit yet, so we do not claim to meet it everywhere.
2. What we do
- The site and app support light and dark themes and follow your system setting.
- Pages use headings, landmarks, and labeled controls so a screen reader can move around them.
- Buttons and forms can be used with a keyboard, and focus is visible.
- Text can be zoomed, and pages reflow on small screens.
- Photo buttons and form fields have labels. We try not to rely on color alone.
- Motion is reduced if you set that in your device.
3. Known gaps
- Photos you take are only as accessible as what you write about them. The app does not add descriptions for you.
- Some parts of the app, such as plan markup and drawing on photos, are hard to use with a screen reader or a keyboard.
- Printing and PDF export from a phone app may have limits, and the files may not be tagged for accessibility.
- Some third-party pages we link to, such as Stripe checkout and the Stripe portal, are not under our control.
4. Tell us
If you hit a barrier, email [email protected] with the page, what you tried to do, what happened, and the device and assistive tool you use. We will reply within 5 business days, and we will work on a fix or a way around it. If you need information from us in another format, ask.
5. Updates
We will update this page as we test and improve.
