1. Overview
We respect copyright and expect people who use FIELDFOLIO to do the same. If you believe something on or through FIELDFOLIO, such as a photo or document in a shared report, infringes your copyright, you can ask us to take it down using the steps below. This follows the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We are not a law firm, and this is not legal advice.
2. How to send a notice
Email [email protected] with the following, or the notice may not be valid:
- your name, and your address, phone, and email;
- a description of the work you say is copied;
- the exact link (URL) of the material, or enough detail to find it, such as the share link;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Many shared FIELDFOLIO links are private reports that we cannot see without the link. Please give us the link.
Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages.
3. What we do
When we get a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and tell the person who posted it. We may share the notice, including your contact details, with them. Please do not use this process to report anything other than copyright.
4. Counter-notice
If you posted material that was removed and you think it was a mistake, email [email protected] with: your name, address, phone, and email; a description of the material and where it was before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; a statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice; and your signature.
If we get a valid counter-notice, we will send it to the person who filed the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
5. Repeat infringers
We may end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright.
6. Designated agent
Our designated contact for copyright notices is FIELDFOLIO, at [email protected]. We take notices by email. We have not published a street address, so send notices and counter-notices to that email address. We plan to register a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and will update this page when that is done.
